After breakfast, we proceed to making permit for all travellers. After completing entrance formalities, we take you to Thimphu, Capital of Bhutan & one of the biggest city in Bhutan. Evening is for leisure and to roam local market. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu which includes Tashichho Dzong - Fortress in Thimphu, National Memorial Chorten, Handicraft Emporium, Folk Heritage Museum, Royal Textile Academy & Museum, Kuensel Phodrang – world’s largest sitting Buddha’s statue, BBS Tower – provide vantage point view of the Thimphu Valley. Evening is for leisure. Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Note: On a weekend, tourist can also visit weekend market – one interesting market with local items at a good price (negotiable).
 

(Distance: 77 kms. / Driving Time: 3 hrs. / Altitude of Punakha: 1310 mts.) After breakfast drive to Punakha / Wangdue, On the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). to view the higher Himalayas. Arrivals at Punakha check in at hotel. After noon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952.  After that take a short excursion trip to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, "The Devine Mad Man". Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay will be at Punakha / Wangdue.

(Distance: 140 kms. / Driving Time: 5 hrs. / Altitude of Paro: 2280 mts.) After breakfast visit suspension bridge and drive to Paro (7,483 ft.). On the way stop at Lamperi to visit suspension bridge & Royal Botanical Park - The park contains a rich biodiversity of flora and fauna and features a huge species of plants and animals including endangered species. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Paro Local market by walking to enjoy your evening in leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.

After breakfast, we proceed to World famous Tiger Nest Monastery. It will take your full day. One needs to do some trek to visit this. Ponies are available on hire. Evening is for leisure. Overnight at Paro.

(Distance: 176 kms. / Driving Time: 6 hrs. / Altitude of Phuentsholing: 450 mts.) After breakfast check out of your hotel and visit Paro local sightseeing like Ta Dzong (Ring Pong Dzong), Paro Airport View Point and local market after all these sightseeing travels back to Phuentsholing. Overnight stay will be at Phuentsholing.

Today you will depart from Bhutan Border with a cute smile on your face remembering all the sweet moments spent here and drive back to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport for further journey.
